TT^TT So, I don't understand what people mean by patched game, to latest patch (I'm still a noobie), or some other thing. I want this skin to work with my base game. Could someone please help me? I've looked around, and I can't find anything that can guide me, I'm real slow with techno-stuff.
Patches are game updates that are periodically released whenever an issue needs to be addressed in the game, or a feature needs to be updated. Information on patches can be found here, as listed in our Tutorials section.
ladyfrontbum(.)com/?p=2217 I want to add this non default skin to my game, but that UI mod's no longer available (I can't find it, no downloads for it, and modthesims took it down, do to it becoming obsolete/unsuable with latest game expansions/versions. u(._.)u I've looked for alternative versions of the mod, cause I REALLY want those skins, but have come up empty-handed, even after loaded and downloaded. I own the base game only, no expansions added to it. ;u;
You do not need a mod for custom skins to work. If your game is up-to-date, you should be able to simply scroll through your skintones in the skins tab in CAS using your mouse wheel.
Hi I'm having trouble with my Sims 3 game for PC, which has the requirements because I've played it before without trouble on the same computer :). My problem is when I put CC into my game it would never show up like off of sims 3 downloading websites such as peggyzone. So I decided I was going to uninstall my game since none of the CC would come up in the game and I never had this issue before (I uninstalled several times b4). I uninstalled it and now it still thinks its still installed, help?
You have to do a “clean” uninstall/reinstall for Sims 3. Here is a guide how to do that.
Once you get it running again, test out new custom content with just one piece of CC and not peggy hair, peggy hair has been not working in some people’s game since the latest patches. Make sure you are installing CC the “new” way, in your My Documents folder and not in your Programs folders. Good luck!
I'm trying to install sims 3 town life on origin, but when the download got to 99%, it told me to update the sims 3 launcher before it can install... but my launcher is up to date, and it just keeps telling me that and won't install.
When you say your launcher is up to date, do you mean your game is up to date or your Origin is up to date? If your game is patched, the message could mean that your Origin is out of date. Try downloading the latest version here and see if that helps your issue. If your Origin is already up to date, try double checking that your game is patched to date. We are at patch level 1.33 now.
So my sim was pregnant right as she was about to age up into an adult. So she didn't age up right away. And then.. she got the opportunity for her and her husband to go on a free vacation, so I sent them.. well.. she came back as an adult (like as if she aged up on her vacation), but then she came back and aged up as an elder. She should just be entering adult hood.. so what do I do?
The “free vacation” feature of Generations is known for being buggy. Sometimes it causes aging issues, like you experienced, bugged out sims that become unplayable and sometimes the sims never come back at all!
I bypass the “free vacation” feature when it pops up now. If you want to continue to use it, I suggest you turn aging off when it arises and be sure to save right before they go if you can!
When I make Sims, it doesn't allow me to name them or change their skin tone. I don't have any bad CC and I have an HP laptop with The Base game and all the expansions, but no stuff packs.
Are you still having this issue? Honestly, it sounds like bad or conflicting mods or CC. Try moving your entire mods folder to your desktop, clear you cache and start up your game. If you can name/change skintones, then you know you have a problem in your mods folder somewhere.
Sims 3, PC (meets requirements). My Sims (both the family I am playing and the people in the town) have suddenly stopped aging, I have both story progression and aging enabled- I have tried disabling and enabling both again, but it still does not work. I do not have any mods or CC, so that is definitely not the problem. How can I fix this?
Unfortunately this is a very common glitch.

hi. i play sims 3 on a laptop and i have all expansions and stuff packs. i am using windows 7. my mom is one of those old school people and thinks sims 3 has viruses lol crazy and she wont let me install on desktop. so my laptop over heats a lot and i dont want to by one of those fans for it, is there another way to keep it cool?
